WOLVES MAKE COACHING CHANGES

THE CHRONICLE JOURNAL
The Newspaper of the Northwest
Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada-
--The Thunder Bay Timberwolves have decided to make coaching changes to both the parent club and their minor-league affiliate in Duluth, Minnesota.
--Craig Hartsburg will remain the head coach of the Timberwolves. Hartsburg's job was never in jeopardy and accourding to management, they are pleased with how he has handled the young players and veterens.
--Hartsburg's assistant on the bench however will change.
--Mike Ramsey will be taking over the assistant coaching duties in Duluth for the Pups. The decision to move to the minor-league ranks was a joint decision between Ramsey and the Timberwolves due mostly to Mike wanting to be closer to his family. He is a Minnesota-native, and permenently resides in a Minneapolis suburb.
--Joining Ramsey in Duluth, and taking over head coaching duties will be J.P. Parise (pictured). Parise is the father of Long Island's Zach Parise and had previously been the director of player evaluations at the famed Shattuck St. Mary's private school in Faribault, Minnesota.
--"We are very excited add J.P. to our hockey club," said Wendt. "He brings a wealth of experience, and we feel more than confident that he can mold our young players in Duluth into very valuable pieces to the future success in Thunder Bay."
--There is no immediate replacement of Ramsey for the Timberwolves. Wendt said he plans to fill that position before the CCHL Entry Draft.
